Player Spotlight: Sah'mir Hagans (WR / Class of 2021)

Sah'mir Hagans is an explosive Wide Receiver from Philadelphia, PA who will be competing in the 302 Rising Freshmen All-Star Game on July 8th, 2017 at A.I. Dupont High School in Wilmington, DE. Despite only being in 8th grade currently, Hagans has already proven to have the ability to compete at a very high level and truly knows how to help win football games against top competition. In 2016, Hagans helped lead the Enon Eagles to a victory in the AYF National Championship.

While at the Football University (FBU) Camp this past weekend, Sah'mir was moved up an age group to compete with the upperclassmen in attendance at the event. Although he was competing against some of the top cornerbacks, safeties, and linebackers within the region - Hagans still performed at an extremely high level and impressed nearly every coach in attendance at the event. NFL Legend Billy "White Shoes" Johnson said, he has never saw an 8th grader put pressure on a defense the way Sah'mir was able to. Former NFL Wide Receiver Fred Barnett stated that Sah'mir Hagans was arguably one of the top two best wide receivers in attendance this past weekend. After an outstanding performance, Sah'mir earned a spot to compete in the prestigious FBU Top Gun Camp next month to compete with the top players from throughout the United States.
