Player Spotlight: Devin Smith Jr. (WR / Class of 2021)

Devin Smith is currently ranked as the #1 Wide Receiver and #4 overall prospect for Delaware's Class of 2021 by 302 Elite Athletes. The Smyrna, DE product has been tearing up the competition all Spring, showcasing his pure speed and playmaking ability at wide receiver.

This summer, Smith had the opportunity to showcase his talent at the Football University (FBU) camp in Philadelphia, PA. While attending the camp, Devin was named Camp MVP and received an invitation to the prestigious FBU Top Gun Camp featuring the top prospects from throughout the nation. In addition, he was also invited to the regional tryouts for the USA Football National Team.

Devin Smith currently plays for the Team Delaware varsity football team - Team Delaware Elite. The speedster is ranked #8 in the nation for his age in the 55-meter for track and field. Next year, Devin will be attending Smyrna High School where he will compete for a starting job immediately. We truly expect Devin to be an impact player at the next level with the potential of being a nationally rated prospect by major scouting sources. Smith will have the opportunity to showcase his next-level talent on July 8th, 2017 at the 302 Rising Freshmen All-Star Game held at A.I. Dupont High School in Wilmington, Delaware.
