Player Spotlight: B.J. Blake (ATH / Class of 2022)

B.J. Blake is an athlete who can make an impact at nearly any position on the football field. 302 Elite Athletes currently has Blake ranked as the top prospect in Delaware for the Class of 2022. In addition to being Delaware's top prospect for the Class of 2022, Blake was rated a top 3 defensive back at the NextGen Football Camp in Richmond, Virginia which earned him an invitation to "The Show" All-American Camp in Texas or California.

In 2014, B.J. Blake established himself as one of the elite young prospects in the country after leading the Wilmington Titans AAU team to the National Championships in Florida. As quarterback of the Titans, Blake threw for 12 touchdowns over a five game period. B.J. and the Titans went on to finish the season ranked 3rd in the nation. In addition to winning the Titan Award as Team MVP of the Wilmington Titans, Blake was selected as an O-D All-American. In the Spring, B.J. Blake currently plays for the Maryland Heat in the Grassroots Youth Football League. The GYFL is powered by Under Armour, which gives the top players in the league the ability to be selected to play in the prestigious Under Armour All-American Game. Given his production and overall ability on the football field, there is a great possibility that Blake could receive the honor of playing in the Under Armour All-American Game in the near future.

Delaware's Class of 2022 top prospect has also registered to participate in the 2017 - 302 Rising Freshmen All-Star Game on July 8th, 2017. Despite being one of the younger players in the All-Star Game, we are confident that this outstanding athlete will be able to showcase his highlight-reel playmaking ability.
