302 Elite Athletes Staff

Our 302 Elite Athletes staff is on a mission to increase exposure for youth football players throughout the state of Delaware. Many of our staff members are either current / former football players or coaches with a great knowledge for the game of football. We are truly committed to providing great coverage of youth and middle school football throughout the entire state!

           ISAIAH FLEMING

 

Isaiah Fleming is the President & Director of Scouting for 302 Elite Athletes & New Castle Jags Youth Football Org. Isaiah was born and raised in the state of Delaware. During his collegiate football career at D2 Cheyney University, Fleming was named 2x 1st Team All-American , 3x NCAA 1st team All-Region selection, 3x First Team All-PSAC selection, and Cliff Harris National Defensive Player of the Year Finalist. Finished his prolific career with 461 tackles and 54 TFL. In addition to running 302 Elite Athletes  Isaiah Represents RNR TOP 100's North as the Regions Scouting Director. 

           WILL MATTIS

Will Mattis is the Vice President & Director of Football Operations for 302 Elite Athletes. Mattis has worked at a variety of levels within football including college, arena football, high school, semi-professional, and internationally as well. In 2014, Mattis was hired by former Saints WR Marques Colston to become the Director of Player Personnel for the Harrisburg Stampede professional arena football team. Following the season he began working at Widener University, who finished the 2014 season with a 13-1 record.

           JAMIL MERRELL

 

Jamil Merrell is the Assistant Director of Football Operations for 302 Elite Athletes. Jamil played high school football at Hodgson Vo-Tech in Newark, Delaware where was selected as the 2007 Delaware Defensive Lineman of the Year and invited to the U.S. Army All-American Game following their 2008 State Championship. Merrell went on to play college football at Rutgers, where he won a Big East Championship and was named Team Captain as a senior. Jamil spent time with the Chicago Bears in 2014 and 2015.

           JAMAL MERRELL

 

Jamal Merrell is the Assistant Director of Scouting for 302 Elite Athletes. Jamal won the 2008 Delaware High School Football State Championship at Hodgson Vo-Tech in Newark, Delaware and went on to play NCAA Division-I college football at Rutgers University. During his time at Rutgers, Merrell started in 34 games, won the Big East Championship, and was named to the Butkis Award watch list. Following his collegiate career, Jamal spent time with the Tennessee Titans from 2014 to 2016.
